Medical Affairs Information Specialist
• Works independently under the general guidance of the manager
• Manages complex support projects, overseeing timelines and tasks
• In a functional and team-lead capacity, oversees daily activities and reviews work of Operations Assistants and Associates under the guidance of the manager
• Acts as a technical resource, providing expert advice to Medical Affairs Operations and other departments
• Provides senior customer support escalation point for Medical Affairs applications and processes including:
o Medical Scientist CRM system
o Analytics tools
o Slide Content Repository
o Learning Management System
o ISR proposal review system
o Medical Information Request Management System
o Drug launches
• Assists in creating process documents and standard operating procedures for Medical Affairs systems
• Assists in the development of training programs and training of employees on the use of systems and system-related processes
• Develops support processes and systems via a global lens that create efficiencies for Medical Affairs
• Leads the roll-out of new applications, tools, and processes to end-users
• Leads support activities at Medical Affairs conferences
• May assist in quality control and improvement initiatives for Medical Affairs
• Develops technical solutions to complex problems
