1. Change Analyst Responsibilities (50%)
Change Order Processing
Review and process Engineering Change Orders (ECO), Manufacturing Change Orders (MCO), Deviations, and other change requests.
Perform quality, compliance, and completeness reviews of submitted changes.
Determine and validate approver requirements using approved CCB routing tools and matrices.
Route change orders in accordance with Coherent policies and procedures.
Release approved changes and perform associated follow-up activities.
Product and Document Data Management
Review and approve new item and document requests.
Verify compliance with naming standards, commodity code requirements, and data governance rules.
Support lifecycle management activities for products, documents, and BOM structures.
Maintain data integrity within PLM systems.
User Support
Provide direct support to Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality teams.
Troubleshoot Agile PLM and related process issues.
Support implementation of new business processes and system enhancements.
Serve as a local subject matter expert for Change Management and Document Control processes.
2. China Change Analyst Management Responsibilities (50%)
Team Coordination and Support
Provide day-to-day coordination and leadership for a team of Change Analysts located within China.
Serve as the primary escalation point for complex change management and document control issues.
Assist team members in resolving process, system, and workflow challenges.
Promote consistent application of global procedures, policies, and work instructions across all local sites.
Training and Development
Mentor and coach Change Analysts on system usage, policies, and best practices.
Coordinate onboarding and training of new Change Analysts.
Identify knowledge gaps and facilitate local training activities.
Share lessons learned, process improvements, and best practices across sites.
Operational Oversight
Monitor workload distribution and provide recommendations to optimize resource utilization.
Support business continuity planning, vacation coverage, and workload balancing among local Change Analysts.
Assist Global Document Control leadership in identifying risks, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities.
Support execution of global initiatives, system rollouts, and harmonization projects.
Stakeholder Engagement
Act as the local representative of the Global Document Control organization.
Coordinate communication between local business functions and global leadership.
Support local leadership teams in understanding and applying global change management requirements.
Represent country-specific concerns, needs, and improvement opportunities within global forums.
