This position is responsible for testing of globally developed embedded control products on HVAC equipment and systems.
Job Descriptions:
• Understands and contributes to product functional specifications.
• Design and implement automatic test scripts and manual test procedures that conform to defined functionality specifications, design documents, and external application standards.
• Report/track/verify change requests according to the test results.
• Design/Maintain test related documents other than test scripts and procedures.
• Setup/Maintain mechanical test stations and automatic test systems according to product test requirements.
• Communicate with local and global test lead/engineers on verifying the correction of test design and solving technical issues encountered when design tests.
• Communicate with local and global PM/SW/System Design engineers on verifying product design (functional specifications).
• Work with the software manager/engineers for the software issue debugging when necessary.
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, HVACR Technology or related discipline required.
• 2 years of software and commercial product test experiences.
• Disciplined in software test and verification methodologies.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• High quality standard and attention to details.
• Knowledge of building control systems and devices is desired.
• Must understand and adhere to safety measures when working with electrical equipment.
• Knowledge sharing and strong team work.
• Proactive and highly self-motivated.
• Ability to effectively communicate with others both written and orally in Chinese and English.
