Job Summary This position will be responsible for OCS (optical circuit switch) product benchtop alignment test, related components test, and failure analysis. 1)Test optical components at benchtop alignment station, cooperate with SNV R&D team to validate optical components and summarize a report. 2)Support failure analysis for reliability test and take actions to improve performance. 3)Provide support for production lines to solve technical issues and enhance efficiency. Primary Duties & Responsibilities OCS bench alignment test – 50% • Support SNV R&D team to complete optical experiments, including optical coupling and optics alignment. • Setup test platform and validate the performance of optical components. • Explore more efficient bench alignment method. • Train technicians. Failure analysis and troubleshooting –20% • Troubleshoot optical component related issues in prototype or production stages. • Identify root causes (e.g., material defects, process deviations, environmental interference) and propose corrective actions to improve reliability and yield. Production lines support-20% • Provide support to improve yield and efficiency. • Write standard files and release. Quality support – 10% • Work with quality departments to solve materials quality issues. • Failure analysis for qualification modules. • Visit suppliers

职位要求

Education & Experience • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Optical Engineering, Photonics, or a related field; master’ s degree is preferred. • The ideal candidate will have significant engineering or R&D experience • 5+ years of hands-on experience in optical communications or related industries Skills & Other Requirements • Deep understanding of optical component principles and performance: insertion loss, return loss, polarization characteristics. • Strong understanding of physical optics. • Excellent problem-solving skills: able to identify, analyze, and resolve complex optical issues. • Ability to process data and analyze. • Proficiency in optical design and simulation software is a plus. • Good communication and teamwork skills: able to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams and present technical information clearly. • Proficiency in English (written and spoken): able to read technical documents, communicate with international teams, and write technical reports in English
