Responsibilities
• Lead the development, execution, and continuous improvement of test strategies for optoelectronic products across R&D, qualification, and high-volume manufacturing phases.
• Own optical, electro-optical (DC/RF), and photonic integrated circuit (PIC) test methodologies, ensuring high accuracy, repeatability, and scalability of measurements.
• Design, develop, and enhance advanced test setups, fixtures/jigs, and instrumentation infrastructure within the Photonics Test Lab.
• Drive test automation, standardization, and optimization of test workflows to improve throughput, yield insight, and cost efficiency.
• Perform detailed data analysis and lead the preparation of test reports, GR&R studies, qualification summaries, and tester buy-off documentation.
• Lead troubleshooting, validation, root-cause analysis, and failure analysis using advanced electrical and optical lab equipment.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with design, process, manufacturing, quality, and external partners to ensure smooth product transfer from development to mass production and support design-for-testability (DFT) improvement。
职位要求
Requirements
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Photonics, or related discipline
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in electrical, optical, or optoelectronic testing in R&D and/or manufacturing environments. (Candidates with significantly more experience will be considered for higher-level positions)
• Strong hands-on experience with optical/electrical test equipment, lab instrumentation, and precision measurement techniques.
• Proficiency in data analysis and statistical tools such as Excel, JMP, or equivalent platforms.
• Experience in test automation and scripting using Python, LabVIEW, MATLAB, C/C++, or similar programming languages.
