SAP Basis Consultant

Key Responsibilities • Lead and provide BAU support to SAP applications, including rostered remote standby support. • Hands-on performance tuning and optimization (work processes, memory, database, batch jobs, RFCs) using ST03N, STAD, DBACOCKPIT, HANA Cockpit • Lead SAP GRC Access Control operations and enhancements (SoD rule maintenance, risk analysis, firefighter monitoring, remediation workflows) • Optimize SAP security and authorizations (role refinements, access reviews, compliance controls) • Guide infrastructure team for proactive infrastructure tuning • Provide L2/L3 production support, root cause analysis, and preventive maintenance • Drive feature enhancements and clean core optimizations in S/4HANA • Improve system monitoring (Solution Manager, Focused Run), early watch reports, and capacity planning • Collaborate with functional, security, and audit stakeholders

Key Technical Skills • SAP Basis administration & optimization ( S/4HANA, HANA, BTP) • Strong hands-on SAP GRC Access Control experience (risk analysis, SoD, access workflows) • Advanced SAP security (PFCG, authorization objects, audit support) • Infrastructure optimization: Linux/Windows, HANA, storage/network tuning • SAP Solution Manager • Knowledge of HA/DR monitoring and cloud sustainment (Azure/AWS/GCP, RISE desirable) Requirements • Bachelor’s in Computer Science/IT or related • 6+ years hands-on SAP Basis with focus on optimization & production support • Proven SAP GRC Access Control operations in complex environments • Strong infrastructure optimization experience • Knowledge of compliance frameworks (SOX, GDPR) and audit support • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills • Agile experience; SAP Basis/Security/GRC certification a plus • Eligible to work in Hong Kong • Fluent English; Cantonese/Mandarin advantageous • AMS experience is needed
