Base China (Zhen Jiang镇江或Shanghai上海 Job Title: Process Development engineer Role summary： Process Development engineer is a part of OCSiAl’s Technical Support team in OCSiAl Shanghai technical center, to support and work together with technical engineer by providing global customers with solutions based on single wall carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) for wide applications. The main products of the company are SWCNT themselves, and SWCNT suspensions. To develop and launch SWCNT new suspensions together with team is a key request to a candidate. Reporting and key relationships： This position will report to the team leader: Process Development Manager. Will based in Zhen Jiang/Shanghai. The work mainly involves SWCNT new suspensions development, mainly for organic solvent base-suspension. by conducting lab-scale and pilot trials in Shanghai technical center and Zhen Jiang solvent production site, process control and modification, QC testing, technical support, and lab equipment management. Good safety mindset, strong implementation capability, and good communication skills are key requirements. There are no subordinates for this position. Key tasks • Develop SWCNT-based suspensions together with team by doing small/middle sized trials and performance evaluation, by targeting the key business areas like Li-battery, coatings, composite, and so on. • Provide full support to run the pilot production lines carefully, by strictly following guideline and policy. • Hands-on in lab to develop technical solutions and launch new products, supervised by team leader. • Assist technical support by doing lab testing, including troubleshooting, SWCNT products performance validation, generating technical guidance to customers, and so on. • Make reliable experimental data, report and document results in right way by using laboratory notebook, emails, NetSuite database, and other tools as needed. • Responsible for lab equipment SOP, calibration, and perform maintenance as needed. • Participate in regular safety meeting/training and keep good lab 5S and safety record.

职位要求

Core technical skills and experience Broad knowledge of Chemical laboratory terminology, equipment and procedures. Knowledge of chemical and laboratory safety management and waste disposal practices. Believes in working safely in the laboratory and has good organizational and housekeeping practices. Critical to the success in this work, the company considers the experience and intellectual flexibility of the candidate. With working experience in plant workshop or pilot production line will be plus to success. • Minimum college degree preferably in Chemistry or Material Science. • Experience in chemical product production, like resin, coating, or related technologies is a plus. • Strong problem-solving skills, and good team player to work with cross functional teams. • Excellent Chinese and simple oral and written English . • Pass the hazardous chemicals examination will be plus to success.
