Job Summary: This job aims to provide process design for SHG new products and TIP programs. The candidate is expected to do new process solution, material and equipment survey, and provide industrially competitive process solution options based on optimal cost, quality and efficiency.

Duties & Responsibilities 1) Product process design 60% • Attend the product design or respin activity and provide process input to designer. • Review design drawings and TDS, figure out the special process, equipment and tooling requirement. • Design process flow, select proper process equipment, design required tooling and f ixtures, provide particular process work instructions etc. • Improve the process through sample build and certify the process design with process qualification test. • Transfer the product process to NPI/MFG site. 2) Advanced process design 30% • Collect and study the demand for future product or platform from R&D, NPI or MFG site, figure out the new process requirement. • Investigate the possible process solution options based on industry capability. • Do feasibility and necessity analysis, determine the advanced process design plan and goals. • Do vehicle test and verify/qualify the effectiveness of new process. • Introduce new process to PIP products. 3) Platform continuous improvement 10% • Collect and study the failure history and figure out the commonality, establish checklist for future application • Establish and maintain the process design guidance for reference • Perform peer review for process designs
