Job Summary Design and develop firmware for optical communication products, primarily for OCM (optical channel monitor) module. Responsible for the full development lifecycle, including spec interpretation, firmware design, coding, unit testing and firmware release. Primary Duties & Responsibilities Firmware Development for EDFA Products (Module, Line Card and Test Utility) – 75% • Learn and become proficient in the existing firmware platform for OCM-related products. • Support customer firmware specification review and participate in technical discussions under guidance from senior engineers. • Collaborate closely with FPGA and cross-functional engineering teams to develop embedded systems for OCM products. • Support the full firmware development process on existing platforms, including coding, debugging, verification, and release, with general guidance. • Maintain code in the repository, track issues, and prepare design and development documentation

职位要求

Education & Experience • Bachelor’s degree or above in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. • 3+ years of experience in embedded firmware development using FPGA SoC and/or microcontrollers for real-time or embedded applications. Experience in optical communication products is a plus. • Good programming skills in C/C++ for embedded systems. Exposure to assembly programming is a plus. • Basic understanding of software design principles and structured code development. • Experience in embedded control or signal-processing-related applications is preferred, especially in areas such as data acquisition, digital filtering, calibration, curve fitting, or control logic implementation. • Exposure to communication protocol development over UART, I²C, SPI, or Ethernet. • Familiarity with lab debugging tools such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers. • Good problem-solving ability with experience in debugging and issue analysis in embedded systems. • Exposure to OCM, optical monitoring, or optical signal processing applications is a plus.
