Job Summary Mechanical simulation and strain test work Primary Duties & Responsibilities Collaborate with mechanical, optical, electrical and process engineers to perform thermo-stress analyses, strain testing and provide design solutions to internal customers. Setup stress simulation supporting task procedure, request/input/output and testing rules, simulation model management procedure. Education & Experience BS/MS Degree in Mechanical Engineering BS with at least 5 years of relevant experience or MS with at least 3 years of relevant experience is preferred Skills & Other Requirements Expertise in Ansys application, especially for static structural, transient, and thermal-stress field. Strong background in numerical analysis. Expertise in material mechanics, epoxy molding and various material property. Experience in mechanical component design, working with venders/production lines are plus. Experience in design of experiment, thermal-strain measurement, and project management are plus. Good skills at English Writing and Reading, basic at oral and listening. Working Conditions Notebook, workstation, phone, copiers, filing cabinet Physical Requirements Have the capacity to finish the related work independently
