The Operations Manager will oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations of the toothbrush/brush facility in India. This role ensures smooth production, compliance with quality and regulatory standards, cost efficiency, and timely delivery to support domestic and export markets. The position focuses on operational execution, team leadership, and continuous improvement initiatives aligned with global standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manufacturing & Operations
Manage daily plant operations including production, maintenance, and planning.
Achieve production targets in terms of output, efficiency (OEE), and yield.
Ensure consistent manufacturing of high-precision brush products (manual toothbrushes, interdental brushes, etc.).
Implement Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma practices for productivity improvement.
Support capacity utilization and throughput optimization.
2. Quality & Regulatory Compliance
Ensure compliance with Indian regulations (CDSCO, BIS) and global standards (ISO 13485, ISO 9001, GMP).
Maintain audit readiness and support CAPA, root cause analysis, and quality improvement initiatives.
Drive traceability, documentation, and validation for regulated products.
Monitor customer quality metrics (PPM, complaints reduction).
3. EHS & Safety
Ensure compliance with Indian EHS regulations, Factory Act, and Pollution Control Board norms.
Promote a zero-harm safety culture across teams.
Oversee waste management, chemical handling, and sustainability practices.
4. Cost & Supply Chain
Support plant budgeting and cost optimization initiatives.
Drive scrap reduction and process efficiency improvements.
Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams for vendor development and localization.
Monitor inventory and working capital efficiency.
5. People Leadership
Lead and develop cross-functional teams in Production, Quality, and Engineering.
Ensure compliance with Indian labour laws and industrial relations practices.
Drive performance management, training, and employee engagement.
Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
6. Engineering & Automation
Support process engineering, new product introduction (NPI), and scale-up activities.
Drive automation initiatives in brush manufacturing (tufting, trimming, packaging).
Ensure equipment validation and process capability improvements.
Contribute to Industry 4.0 and digital manufacturing initiatives.
7. Stakeholder Management
Act as a key interface with regulatory bodies, customers, and suppliers.
Collaborate with global teams (R&D, Quality, Supply Chain).
Represent the plant in customer audits and operational reviews.

Product quality (PPM, complaints, CAPA closure)

职位要求
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical)
Experience
10+ years in manufacturing operations, with at least 3–5 years in supervisory/managerial roles.
Experience in brush/toothbrush manufacturing, plastics, FMCG, or medical device industry preferred.
Exposure to regulated manufacturing environments and export operations.
Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of ISO standards, GMP, and Indian regulatory environment.
Expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, and process optimization.
Solid financial and cost management understanding.
Leadership and team development capability.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement.
