职位描述

• Manage the shipment process on all vehicles (marine and airfreight on Company chartered vessels/flights or on regular scheduled ocean and air carrier services) are within Company’s guidelines, Logistics procedures, and shipping and forwarding contracts. Review and approve contractor invoice payments either for own or senior approval authority. • Lead the arrangement and positioning of suitable types of vessels/aircraft to load and carry the cargo in a timely, efficient and cost effective manner, as well as in compliance Company policy. Devise methods and implement action to affect the consolidation of cargoes, which lend themselves to forwarding via complete or part-chartered vessels or flights. Ensure packing of Company material is in accordance to Company standards and perform regular cargo inspection. • Review and approve cargo booking plans to ensure all stakeholders are fully informed of impending cargo movements; resolve problems concerning the same. Develop and maintain statistical data as it pertains to cargo planning and booking. Coordinate the updating of SAP Logistics modules with the shipping data to allow Saudi Aramco to extract the data from the system and perform the customs clearance. • Keep Saudi Aramco fully advised in advance of cargo arrivals to ensure that proper planning can be effected at destination of each ship or airplane. Ensure that all required export documentation is properly prepared and forwarded to Saudi Aramco in a timely manner. • Manage “Global Travel Services” program related to the Company’s passenger travel requirements, including passenger assistance visits to ports or airports when required. • Resolve operational issues, shipment delays, customs clearance challenges, and transportation exceptions. • Develop logistics strategies to support business continuity and operational requirements. • Review and analyze freight market trends and recommend improvements to logistics sourcing and execution strategies. • Monitor logistics KPIs and identify opportunities for service improvement and cost optimization. • Develop logistics contracts to support material and personnel movements. • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the freight markets, determining future trends and developing and incorporating innovative ideas in relation to the logistics function in general. Keep abreast of relevant government rules and regulations regarding exports from local country and the imports into the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. • Supervise or give work direction to logistics function team. • Perform other duties as directed by line manager.

职位要求

• Bachelor Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or International Business Administration or closely related field of academic study. • 9+ years’ experience in all phases of Logistics or Forwarding, with at least 5 years in exporting logistics service management or responsible positions involving development/administration of contracts with ocean carriers, airlines, freight forwarders, cargo inspection agencies etc. • Minimum 3 years in a management role, with strong leadership skills. Be able to lead the team efforts to a shared goal. • Experience in supply chain management, i.e. sourcing, procurement, supplier relations management, etc. is a plus. • Must be able to communicate and comprehend accurately, clearly and concisely in both English and local language. • Substantial knowledge of electronic data processing applications and use. • Incumbent must be tactful, yet forceful, in dealing with a wide variety of people in accomplishing his responsibilities. • Must possess good negotiating/contracting/cost analysis skills. • Working knowledge of SAP and logistics management systems. • Must possess excellent knowledge in exports and regulatory requirements.
