Key Responsibilities
1. Hedge Fund Product Strategy & Platform Architecture
• Design and continuously refine a full-spectrum hedge fund product strategy framework across major
strategy buckets (e.g. equity long/short, global macro, multi-strategy, credit, quantitative, event-driven,
and relative value).
• Establish clear product selection criteria, portfolio construction principles, and platform allocation logic
aligned with client risk profiles and market regimes.
• Own the long-term hedge fund product roadmap in partnership with senior investment leadership and the
Managing Director, International Products.
2. Manager Sourcing, Screening & Network Access (Core Focus)
• Proactively source, identify, and screen global hedge fund managers, with primary emphasis on US and
European institutional-quality GPs. The candidate's existing relationships with senior professionals at
leading Western hedge fund firms are essential to this mandate.Olive Asset Management | Hedge Fund Product Lead | Confidential

• Conduct rigorous manager due diligence spanning investment process, risk management, operational
infrastructure, track-record integrity, capacity, and alignment of interest.
• Leverage and continuously expand a high-quality network of relationships with leading hedge fund
managers — particularly in North America and Europe — as well as industry intermediaries (prime
brokers, fund administrators, placement agents, consultants) to sustain a continuous, differentiated
product pipeline.
• Lead qualitative and quantitative screening across primary opportunities and, where relevant, fund of
hedge funds (FoHF) / multi-manager structures.
• Form independent investment views and present clear, decision-ready recommendations to the
investment committee.
3. Product Introduction & Commercial Negotiation
• Own the full product introduction lifecycle — from first manager engagement through investment
committee approval, documentation, and platform onboarding.
• Lead commercial negotiations on fees, terms, capacity reservations, side letters, and other commercial
arrangements to secure favourable outcomes for clients and the firm.
• Coordinate cross-functional workstreams (legal, compliance, operations, risk, and distribution) to ensure
controlled, efficient product launches across relevant jurisdictions, including cross-border introduction from
US/European managers to the Hong Kong platform.
4. Investment Monitoring & Ongoing Oversight
• Design and operate ongoing monitoring frameworks covering performance attribution, risk exposures,
style drift, operational changes, liquidity, and key-person risk.
• Lead regular manager reviews, follow-up due diligence, and escalation when material issues arise.
• Produce concise investment theses, monitoring reports, and hold / add / redeem recommendations for
internal stakeholders and client-facing teams.
5. Team Leadership & Stakeholder Partnership
• Lead, coach, and develop a team focused on hedge fund research, product selection, and platform
management.
• Partner with distribution and client coverage teams on product education and sales enablement,
ensuring recommendations remain suitability-aligned under applicable rules.
• Represent the hedge fund platform in investment committees, internal forums, and external manager
meetings.
• Collaborate closely with Asia-based and international product, platform, and distribution stakeholders to
support cross-border product introduction in a controlled manner.

Hong Kong–US/Europe time zones.
Working knowledge of the Hong Kong securities regulatory framework applicable to alternative product

Conduct for Persons Licensed by or Registered with the SFC, and the Professional Investor regime, is
preferred.
Relevant SFC licences (e.g. Type 1 — Dealing in Securities, Type 4 — Advising on Securities, and/or
Type 9 — Asset Management), or eligibility / willingness to obtain them, are preferred.
Familiarity with common offshore fund structures (e.g. Cayman master-feeder, BVI feeders) and
