Engineering Manager

Responsible for all aspects of Product Engineering for specific product area including design, test, analysis, verification, validation, technical liaison, innovation, and improvement. Identify, implement, and maintain new technology applicable to Means product line. Direct engineering team including but not limited to the following disciplines: Product Applications, Advanced Engineering, R&D, CAD, CAE, Mechatronics, and Testing. Can act independently with only high-level direction from Director. Plans, organizes, and supervises the work of a staff of engineers. • Manage Product Engineering staff. Identify and oversee personnel development needs. 管理产品工程部门的员工。识别并管理团队的发展。 • Assist Vice President and Directors of Engineering in setting department strategy and objectives. 协助工程副总裁和工程总监制定部门策略和目标。 • Develop strong relationships with customer design, development, quality, and advanced product engineers. 与客户的设计、开发、质量和高级产品工程师团队建立牢固的关系。 • Represent Means as the primary customer liaison for the products and engineers above. Submit design work requests as required to complete work. 支持 CAD、CAE 和机电一体化设计新产品。根据需要提交设计工作请求，以完成工作。 • Help verify that designs/specifications meet all customer fit and function requirements through analysis and testing for pre-production phases.
