Peptide Design
Responsibilities：
1. Lead the design and optimization of therapeutic peptides, peptide-drug conjugates (PDCs), and
constrained macrocycles using structure-based and AI-driven approaches.
2. Direct peptide sequence optimization to enhance potency, selectivity, and drug-like properties
(e.g., stability, solubility, permeability, oral bioavailability).
3. Conduct structure-activity relationship (SAR) studies to guide peptide optimization in collaboration
with medicinal chemists, computational chemists and biologists.
4. Utilize molecular modeling, docking, and pharmacophore analysis to predict peptide-target
interactions and binding modes.
5. Collaborate with synthetic chemists to guide peptide synthesis, and reaction optimization.
6. Contribute to peptide drug discovery projects from hit identification to preclinical development.
7. Present research findings and strategic recommendations in cross-functional team meetings.
8. Apply expertise in small molecule drug design to enhance peptide therapeutic properties and
cross-modality strategies.
Qualifications：
1. PhD in Medicinal Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, or related field with a strong background in smallmolecule
and peptide synthesis and drug design.
2. 5-10 years of experience in drug discovery, with expertise in structure-based drug design (SBDD)
and ligand optimization.
3. Proficiency in drug design software (e.g., MOE, PyMol, Schrödinger, Discovery Studio, or similar).
4. Experience with peptide or protein-ligand interaction principles.
5. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in interdisciplinary teams.
