- Design conveyance solutions through standard parameterized design software, according to application specifications, customer requirements, and within operational timelines. - Take ownership of projects through all stages—design, functional requirements, validation, and manufacturability. - Design & validate non-standard solutions on the standard equipment as per request, with great equipment safety & risk assessments. - Support equipment installation & start-up and assist with troubleshooting field issues, sometimes at a customer site. - Accurately responding to presales/post sales engineering support requests. - Identify, prioritize and drive continuous improvement opportunities through an understanding of manufacturing process, cost estimating, sourcing, etc. - Develop and conduct training for others as per need. - Work on orders for other regions if needed. - Develop knowledge, becoming a subject matter expert (SME) within the engineering department with respect to design fundamentals and product.
