Job Description:
- Fully responsible for the overall strategic planning, business operations, and performance achievement in the Japanese market, accountable for P&L (Profit and Loss) results, and driving the continuous growth of the company's market share and brand influence in the travel and quality lifestyle services sector.
- Develop and execute annual and medium-to-long-term business development plans for the Japanese market, covering the entire value chain including sales, business development (BD), product localization, solution design, customer service, and delivery, ensuring efficient collaboration and alignment across all functions.
- Lead and build the local core management team, establish efficient organizational mechanisms, and cultivate a high-performance, cohesive localized team.
- Gain deep insights into trends, user behavior, and the competitive landscape of Japan's high-end travel consumption market, spearhead the development of local product and service strategies, and drive the adaptation, optimization, and innovative implementation of global products and services in Japan.
- Oversee the top-level maintenance of key account (KA) and strategic partner relationships, including major financial institutions, airlines, corporate clients, and airport authorities, driving the signing of high-value cooperative projects and deepening long-term partnerships.
- Establish and refine local compliance, finance, human resources, and operational management systems, ensuring business operates stably and efficiently in compliance with Japanese laws and regulations as well as the company's global governance standards.
- As the highest representative in Japan, report business progress and strategic recommendations internally to the APAC CEO, and externally represent the company in industry events, media communications, and government/association relationship building, enhancing credibility and industry standing in the Japanese market.
职位要求
I. Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher; MBA or related degree in business, management, or similar fields preferred.
II. Experience Requirements:
- 10+ years of comprehensive management experience in multinational corporations or leading local enterprises in the Japanese market, with at least 3 years in roles such as Regional General Manager, Country Head, or equivalent.
- Background in travel services, high-end consumption, fintech, membership platforms, or B2B2C services preferred.
III. Professional Competency Requirements:
- Proven experience in successful market expansion from 0 to 1 or scaling growth, with clear business logic and profit model-building capabilities.
- End-to-end business management expertise, familiar with multi-functional collaboration mechanisms in sales, BD, product, operations, and delivery.
- Excellent strategic thinking and execution skills, capable of effectively translating global strategies into actionable local plans.
- In-depth understanding of Japan's business environment, consumer culture, and compliance requirements, with an established local resource network (including corporate clients, channels, government/associations, etc.).
IV. Personal Attributes and Other Requirements:
- Fluent in English (proficient as executive working languages, capable of handling global meetings, reports, and cross-cultural collaboration).
- Exceptional leadership, cross-departmental collaboration skills, and team development mindset, capable of inspiring teams with diverse backgrounds.
- Results-oriented, resilient, and able to make quick decisions and drive execution amid uncertainty.
- Strong alignment with corporate mission and values, possessing both a global perspective and deep local operational capabilities.
- Willingness to undertake frequent domestic travel within Japan and necessary international trips.
